LAX retail stores.

We fitted out roughly thirty retail and concession spaces inside Los Angeles International Airport. Each one is a different tenant with its own contractor, its own programme and its own opening date, in a terminal that never closes.

Client type: Retail
Location: Los Angeles, California

The LAX gateway pylons lit blue at dusk behind the airport's letter sculptures, with traffic streaking along Century Boulevard.

Retail and concession fit outs

Electrical and low voltage across the lot, from a coffee counter to a duty free hall. The list is the work: this is what volume looks like when every job is small, every one has a different tenant on the other side of it, and none of them can shut the terminal down.
