Intuit Dome.

We installed all of the low-voltage infrastructure through the arena: the cable tray and the conduit that every system in the building was later pulled through.

The pathway

Low-voltage infrastructure

Cable tray and conduit are the routes everything else in a building runs in. They go up early, before most of the systems that will use them are finalised, and they have to be right for loads still being designed. Get the pathway wrong and every trade behind you inherits the problem.

  1. Cable tray

    The open runs that carry bundled cable through the structure, sized and routed for what the arena would eventually need to put through them.

  2. Conduit

    The enclosed runs, set into and through the building, for everything that could not be carried in open tray.
